Thomas "Bill" RobinsonAugust 1, 1953 ~ October 13, 2016 (age 63)
Thomas (Bill) Robinson passed away, unexpectedly, on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at his home in Frederick, MD. Billy was a longtime resident of Frederick and an employee of the Department of Energy for 38 years. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in accounting and was a fanatical lifelong Terps fan.
Billy was a die-hard sports fan but the Redskins, the Nationals, and the Capitals were his true passions. A favorite pastime of his was golf. He was out on the links almost weekly and wore the title of "Duffer" proudly.
As a brother, he was extremely proud of his family and adored them with his whole heart. Billy was child four in a sibling group of eight. To us, he meant the world. He was always incredibly supportive, a true confidant and wildly funny.
If you were Billy’s friend, you were Billy’s family. He was a kind, generous, thoughtful and never asked for anything from anyone. When help was needed, Billy was there. He had such a positive outlook that no matter what problem arose in life, he handled it with strength and grace. He would always say, "It’s all good." He believed wholeheartedly in Karma and was very spiritual in his own unique way.
Billy loved the sun, sand and surf of a beach anywhere and it never ever could be hot enough or sunny enough for him.
We will miss him immensely and we will love him forever.
Billy was the beloved son of Florence Kirsch and the late Thomas W. Robinson Sr. He is survived by his seven siblings: Catherine Sears; Mary Maxner; Florence Robinson-Sampson (Earl); John (Cedonna); Joseph (Sandra); Stephanie Kelchner (Tim) and Laura.
Billy is also survived by nieces and nephews: Tiffany (Jack), Cris and the late Jason; Matthew and Elizabeth; Andrew, Jonathan and Michelle; great niece Jordan; great nephews CJ and James; and great, great niece Amelia.
