Yodit Alemu was born on June 6, 1962 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and passed away on July 9, 2017 in Frederick, Maryland.
Yodit was the beloved third child of Woudi Tessema and the late Alemu Tessema.
Yodit lived in Switzerland and Italy before settling in the United States in 1984.
In 1999, Yodit met Fereydoon Khorasany and they were married for 15 beautiful years.
Yodit was a graduate of Berry College, Georgia and received her Degree in Business Analytics. She then went to work for MCI, as an analyst. Over the years, Yodit also worked for Onat, State of Maryland.
Yodit, known to her family and loved ones as "Jujuye" was a loving and sensitive person who cared very deeply not only for those close to her but also for those that are less fortunate –the destitute, malnutrition children of the world. She was a person of great integrity and compassion.
A loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: Her loving mother Woudi Tessema, her loving and devoted husband Fereydoon Khorasany, brothers Teddy Alemu, Fasil Alemu and Johnny Alemu, and a host of loving nieces, and nephews, relatives and friends.
