Preston Tarleton, 23 of Rosemont, Maryland passed away on Friday April 30, 2010.

Born July 8, 1986 in Leeseburg, VA he was the son of Mark and Hypatia Tarleton of Rosemont.

Preston was a member of St. Francis of Assisi/ St. Mary's Catholic Church.

He was a 2004 graduate of Brunswick High School and a 2008 graduate of Shenandoah College with a degree in Business Administration. He was currently employed at TNT Service Group.

Preston played little league baseball in Brunswick, MARVA Babe Ruth, four years on Brunswick High Schools Varsity team and four years at Shenandoah.

He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed crabbing. He also loved going to concerts and being around his family and his friends.

In addition to his loving parents, Mark and Hypatia, he is survived by his two sisters, Megan Tarleton of Rosemont and Heather Osman and husband Mike of Harpers Ferry, a nephew, Chase Osman, paternal grandparents, Francis D. Tarleton Sr., and Doris M. Tarleton, maternal grandparents, Richard P. Mullen and Nancy G. Mullen, his uncles, Don Tarleton and wife Dolores, James Tarleton and wife Theresa, Rick Tarleton and fiance Monica and Richard Mullen Jr., and wife Nevella, an aunt, Tracey Kelvington and husband David.

He will also be remembered by all of his cousins and his special friends.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Monday, May 3rd from 2-4 and 6-9 and on Tuesday, May 4th from 2-4 and 6-9.

Services: A Celebration of Preston's life will be held on Wednesday, May 5th 11:00AM at Holy Family Catholic Community,7321 Burkittsville Rd., Middletown, MD with Father Lawrence Gesy officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Petersville, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in Preston's name to St. Francis Catholic Church, 113 1st Ave., Brunswick, MD 21716, to the Brunswick High School Baseball Team or to the Shenandoah baseball Team.

Please accept our condolences on the loss of your son. We had the pleasure of meeting him at one of Coach Anderson's Baseball Family Picnics and several times at games and he was a gentleman. We will hold him and your family in our prayers.
