Buzzy was quite a guy. I remember him from my childhood in Boonsboro. Many, many years later when talking to us he would always refer to us as "you kids'. We were in our 60's but still "the kids". God didn't make many like Buzzy; blessed are those who knew him and the countless others he never met but helped thru all his good works.

Dear Kathy, Penny and John...………………..We were saddened to learn of the passing of your Dad, Buzzy. He will be missed by all who knew him. We have special remembrances of the kindness and friendship that he extended to all...………...of his devotion to his family, his church and the community. As a young person growing up in Boonsboro, I remember always being welcome at the Everline home and being included in family activities...…………………….a much appreciated summer swimming excursion comes to mind. And in later years, with Buzzy and Frankie living a short distance from our home...………………..stopping by for enjoyable visits. Both he and your mother were special. We feel privileged to have known them both. We extend our sincere sympathy to you and your families on your father's passing. May all of the good memories of your Dad help carry you through this difficult time. Marie and Mark Bikle.

Dear Everline Family - Your dad was an icon in Boonsboro, always a smile and a kiss for the ladies. I saw him in later years at Fahrney Keedy when he would come out to entertain and he was loved by everyone there. Leonard and your dad always had a bet who was the oldest but it turned out your dad is the oldest but just 6 months. He had a wonderful life and a beautiful wife. Boonsboro is a better place with them being a part of all of our lives.
Rest in peace dear friend you will be missed.

Mr. Buzzy was always so kind to our family at Trinity. Our children loved to see him as much as he loved to see them. What an amazing life he had on earth. I know he is happy to be with his wife again. I'm so happy we got to meet him. With sympathy, Chad and Julie Hartman and family

"Well done, thy good & faithful servant". Buzzy Everline was the epitome of this Scripture. He, & my father, George, were wonderful mentors to Ron & me as we grew up in Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro. I will always remember his uncanny ability to write perfect poems to fit every special occasion. I love to re-read the one he wrote for Mom & Dad's 60th anniversary...priceless!!! God's blessings to you, John; Kathy; Penny & family. You certainly were blessed with wonderful parents here on earth!! Love, Nancy Cline Poffenberger

We knew Buzzy and Frankie only a short time; we moved to Boonsboro in 2009 and got to know this remarkable couple via Trinity Church. Buzzy was exceptional, loving and a real gentleman indeed. We have many wonderful times with him and his family. Buzzy always said, “I’m ready”, and now it is ‘set go’, onto his new home in Heaven. He will be remembered fondly. Our sincere condolences to his entire family. We all were Blessed by knowing Buzzy.
Peace, Hope and Love to John, Kathy and Penny. We care about you all.

Buzzy was an amazing human being, ever so kind, loving, and a real gentleman indeed. We knew him and Frankie for only a short time of their lives since we moved to Boonsboro in 2009. We met at church and the rest is history and what a great friendship we had. We are truly pleased for him that he is now at Home and at Peace; he always said, “I’m ready”, and now it is ‘set go’. He is missed, but remembered ever so fondly.
Peace, Hope and Love to his family; John, Kathy and Penny. Be proud as I know you are of your father. We care for you all as well. Lovingly, Melissa & Chuck

We are sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. We enjoyed seeing him out and about in recent years at community gatherings. He always reminded me of our bike rides together when Penny, Sheila, and I were growing up in Boonsboro. Your obituary is proof that he lived a long and fulfilling life. We are praying for you during your time of loss.

Dear John and family,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your Dad. So glad to have met him several years ago at Dargan Days and him playing his harmonica. Definitely a delightful person that enjoyed people. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Traveling the various paths of life, there are so many that make a difference in our own small world. For me, Buzz hits the top of the list for so many reasons they are hard to name. Mostly, however, Buzz had to be one of the kindest and gentlest souls who seemed to never be without a friend. I remember with fondness his many impromptu visits to the office for “chat and coffee.” At one point I asked Buzz about his ability to have so many friends....he told me ...if you want to have good neighbors, you need to be a good neighbor. I give thanks to have shared some of life’s short paths with Buzz. He absolutely made a difference for me along the way.
