I was able to meet Mama last October and then again this March and April. She looked in good health and certainly enjoyed the head rubs by Lucky. It was difficult for me to see how aware she was. If she was aware, then that is sad. She had a long time to wait to be taken to the Almighty. I heard how she had had an active and inspiring life before the accident. May she rest in peace and know that she did an excellent job with that youngster. Condolences Lucky and Dad Jim from Bill and Ayisatu

So glad we were able to visit Karen in January when we were back East. She laughed and sang along with the old songs with us. We'll never know what real awareness she had. We only know she smiled when she saw us. God bless her.
