I was so sad to read that Geri had passed away, I had lost touch with her many years ago! My mother and Geri’s mother were our Brownie leaders when we were little girls at St Gabriel’s in DC. I was a year behind her at Immaculata Jr College, I will always remember her huge smile and bubbly personality!!!! My deepest sympathy to all her family, much love Eileen Mullikin Gatti

Hi Eileen. I’m Geri’s oldest daughter, Brenda. I wanted to thank you for your note about mom. I remember her mentioning your name in the past whenever she talked about her Immaculata days. Her mass was very nice. 9 of her grandsons were the pallbearers and 3 granddaughters brought up the gifts at mass. I know she would be proud of them. She has left a big hole in many lives and will be greatly missed. Again, thank you for your condolences.

Brenda: I am so sorry about your loss. Did she herself have some union-related connection - if any - or perhaps she was spouse to a union member? I do a retiree newsletter for the AFL-CIO and I saw her name on last month's obituaries list. If I can get a little information about her, I will mention her name in the next newsletter (which will be in the spring) so if any of our members knew her, they can be made aware of her passing. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
