Agnes Matilda McAuley, 84, of Hagerstown, Maryland died on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Ravenwood Lutheran Home Assisted Living in Hagerstown.
A native of Washington, D.C., she came to Hagerstown, two years ago after spending twenty-one years in Leesburg, Florida. She was a homemaker and raised three boys in New Carrollton, and Greenbelt, Maryland. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal church in Beltsville, Maryland before moving to Leesburg.
Survivors include her three sons, Robert Y. McAuley and his wife Jean of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Thomas J. McAuley of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; Scott M. McAuley and his wife Naomi of Hagerstown, Maryland; and her four grandchildren, Sean, Kerry, John and Kelli.
She was preceded in death by her husband John C. McAuley in 1990.

Inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Arlington National Cemetery where her late husband is buried.
