Alice Ann Bourdeau

Mrs. Alice Ann Bourdeau, 69, of Frederick and formerly of Germantown, died Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Northampton Manor Health Care Center.

She was the wife for 49 years to Leo J. Bourdeau.

Born in Pittsfield, MA on July 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward and Anna (Ruest) Lausier. Alice attended Notre Dame Elementary School and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She went on to attend Bershire Business College.

A former member for 28 years of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Damascus, she recently had membership at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church here in Frederick.

Besides her husband survivors include three sons, Paul A. Bourdeau and wife Tammie of White Plains, MD, David B. Bourdeau and wife Linda of New Market, and John A. Bourdeau and wife Sonja of Gainesville, FL; her six loving grandchildren, Scott, Matthew, Andrew, Alexander, Evan, and Lena; a brother Richard Lausier and wife Angelina of Pittsfield, MA; two sisters, Rose Alessio and husband Ugo of Pittsfield, MA and Lorraine Daoust and husband Robert of Southern Pines, NC.


Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 112 E. Second Street, Frederick, MD with Father Keith Boisvert officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Church Cemetery.

The family request memorials to be made to St Katharine Drexel Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
