Mr. Alvis G. Pratt, 79, of New Market died on Tuesday November 17, 2009.
Born on May 2, 1930 in Floyd, Virginia he was the son of the late Arthur G. and Hattie Pratt.
He moved to the Frederick area in 1962. He worked for 25 years for the Village Restaurant in Frederick. He was a member of the Eagles # 1067.
Surviving is a twin sister Alice Sier of New Market and her friend Harold Stilwell. Nephews Steve Sier and wife Mary and Chris Sier.
Great nieces Kimberly Pestka and husband Andy, Krystal Sier, Ashley Sier and Lindsay Sier. Also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces in Floyd, VA.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.
Services: Services and interment will be private.
