Ana H. Morales

Mrs. Ana H. Morales, 75 of Frederick, MD., died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Pasquale Morales.

Born April 12, 1931, in Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Eufalia Vasquez Reyes.

Mrs. Morales was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in the Bronx, NY where she was very active with fund raisers and social activities. She was affiliated with St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Walkersville.

She is survived by four children, Grisell Soto and partner Anthony Erias of Frederick, Hector Cortes and partner Norma of New York, Camelia Torre and husband Ronald V. of Frederick and Otilio Cortes and wife Susan of Florida, Four grandchildren, Oscar E. Mendez, III, Jason Cortes, Jonathan Cortes and Jaime Lee Cortes; and, two sisters, Aurea Reyes Lopez and Carmen Reyes Ortiz. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Zandria Anna Johnson, two brothers, Ramon Reyes, Meraldo Reyes and a sister, Ernestina Reyes.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, April 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m. from St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD. Interment private
