Andrew Theodore White

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Theodore White, 36, on Thursday, December 5, 2024. 

A lifelong resident of Jefferson, MD, he was born in Washington, DC on January 1, 1988, to Richard and Nancy White. He graduated from Brunswick High School in 2006 and played on the varsity football team. He was instrumental in handing Middletown High School its only defeat in the 45 year rivalry by kicking the game winning field goal in overtime. He completed an associates degree in business from Frederick Community College in 2010. He was a skilled handyman and technician, specializing in car audio and customization. He was a devoted son and caretaker to his late mother. He enjoyed mountain biking and staying active. He was also an animal lover, leaving behind his beloved dog, Meeko. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a kind, easy-going nature and effortlessly connected with others.

In addition to his father, Andrew is survived by his sister, Jessica Lyon; his stepmother, Laura Bell-White; three aunts, Patricia White, Christine White and Janet Hinson-Staggs; one uncle, Stephen White; three cousins, Jaclyn Grzybowski, Jason Hinson and George Scott; a niece and nephew, Reese and John “Jack” Lyon. Andrew was preceded in death by his mother, and uncle, John “Jack” Hinson. 

Friends and family are invited to visitations for Andrew on Tuesday, December 10 from 12-2pm; Wednesday, December 11 from 4-5pm and 6-8pm with a funeral service from 5-6pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Services will be followed by internment on Thursday, December 12 at 10am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
