Mrs. Anita L. Pyle, 94, of Walkersville, MD. (formerly of Hyattsville, MD), passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her home.
Born August 11, 1916 in Washington, D. C., she was the daughter of Frederick and Rose Levy Lutz. Mrs. Pyle was an office manager for the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, retiring after 30+ yrs of service. She enjoyed traveling to many countries around the world, golfing, needlework and in earlier years she enjoyed horseback riding.
She is survived by her son John Pyle of Walkersville, a niece Anita Lutz of Mt. Airy and a god-daughter Cynthia Compher. She was preceded in death by a brother Richard Lutz.
Services and interment will be private.
