Mrs. Anita S. Worley, 82 of Boonsboro, MD, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Fahrney-Keedy Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Worley.
Born September 25, 1926 in Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Leila Michael Stouffer.
Mrs. Worley was a member of the Georgetown Lutheran Church in Washington, D. C. She retired from N.I.H. as an executive secretary at the age of 70 and enjoyed her years of retirement at the Fahrney-Keedy Home.
She is survived by two cousins OraLee Stoner of Severna Park, MD and Patricia Getridge of Boonsboro.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 22, at the Fahrney-Keedy Home, 8507 Mapleville Road, Boonsboro with Rev. Louis Emerick officiating. Graveside services at Boonsboro Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fahrney-Keedy, Benevolent Fund at the above address.
