Annabelle Burgee
November 24, 1925 — April 27, 2016
Mrs. Annabelle C. Burgee, 90, of Jefferson, MD, and most recently of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was the wife of the late James Clayton Burgee.
Born November 24, 1925 in Jefferson, MD she was the daughter of the late Robert George and Lena Elizabeth Brown Wright.
Annabelle grew up working on her family farm in Jefferson, MD. She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers and raising animals.
She is survived by her grandchildren Tracey Painter and husband Jamie of Jefferson, Jamie Marker and husband Craig of Harpers Ferry, Wade Burgee and wife Vickie of Knoxville, and Matthew Burgee and fiancé Christina Cline of Brunswick; daughter-in-law Cathy Burgee of Jefferson; great grandchildren Dylan and Megan Painter, Dustin and Brittany Marker, Alvin Fogle, Wyatt and Riley Burgee.
She is preceded in death by her son Larry Wayne Burgee; 3 brothers Walter R., Russell G. and John H. Wright and 2 sisters June A. Ott and Myrtly E. Clary.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 11-12PM where a service will begin at 12PM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Jefferson, MD.
