Annabelle V. Powell

Annabelle V. Powell, 98, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, August 15, 2022.

Born on April 24, 1924, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William E. Blank and Lora  (Decker) Blank.

She was the loving wife of Hobert Leon Jones and Richard Robert Powell.

Annabelle was a woman of deep faith and truly enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting and listening to gospel music.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Cline; sister, Eileen Bowers of York, PA.; grandchildren, Karen Mabry and husband Frank, Sharen Gartrell and husband, Ron, M. Catherine Faust and husband, Sean, Judith Jones, Cynthia Jordan, Ryan Jones and Lindsay Jones and spouse, Travis; great-grandchildren, M. Alan, Steven, Rebecca, Sara, Matthew, Caitlin,  Brian, Patrick, Mark, Michael, Levi, Olivia and Traelin.  She is also survived by numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her children, William Leon, Barry Lee, Sharon Delores, Ronald Wayne and Judy Darlene Jones; siblings, LeRoy Blank, Thelma Hildebrand, Naomi Myers, Amy Plunkert, Erma Miller and Grace Fox.  

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. 21702.

A celebration of Annabelle's life will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Friday, August 19, 2022.  Rev. Tim May will officiate.  Interment will be at Rocky Springs Cemetery in  Frederick, Md .

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Frederick Health Hospice.
