Anthony Donald DiFilippo, 36, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Born on June 9, 1985, in Baltimore, Maryland.  Anthony was the son of Mary Jo and Charles DiFilippo.

Anthony worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Cove City EMS in Craven County, North Carolina.
He was a huge sports fan and especially loved the Washington Capitals.  He also loved collecting and selling memorabilia.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, David DiFilippo and wife, Dana; grandparents, Antoinette and William Shively; nephews, Chayse, Noah, Joshua and Jackson; nieces, Savannah and Lilly; aunts, Luanne Paci and husband, Joe, Antoinette (Toni) Shipe and husband, Scott, Rebecca Bufano, Melissa Shown, Karen Carter, Elizabeth Feys and husband, George, Kevin DiFilippo and Solomon Oxman.  He is also survived by his cousins, Sarah Rayburn, Gabriella Paci, Isabel Paci, Alexander Shipe, Patrick Shipe, Olivia Shipe, Maria Shipe, Zachary Dubbs, Brandon Dubbs, Austin Shown, Dylan Shown, Camden Shown, Morgan Shown, Elaine Carter, Jennifer Carter, Nicholas and Thomas Feys.  He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kelly Squires and her children, Jonah and Violet Squires; biological father, David Herrmann and half siblings, Alexys, Dylan, Sean and Beau.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Louis Vanik, Judith and Enrico DiFilippo; great-grandfather, Anthony Comegna; great-grandmother, Virginia Trost; and cousin, Nicholas Dubbs.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm and 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy, MD 21771.  A Celebration on Anthony's Life will follow at 6:30 p.m. Rev. Tim May will officiate.

Interment Private.
