April Lynn Kerner

April Lynn Kerner, 43, of Frederick, Maryland, died on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Frederick Health Hospital from complications of ALS. She was the loving wife of William B. Kerner, III (Bill) and the adoring mother to her three children, Ryker, Ava, and Jaxon.

Born on December 19, 1981, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Francis Marion Lowman and the late Virginia Teckla (Sargood) Lowman.

She graduated from Severna Park High School in 1999 and from Anne Arundel Community College with an associates degree in Psychology.

She worked as an Assistant Vice President, Operations Analyst at Bank of America prior to her diagnosis. Before her promotion, she was an Operations Manager for Bank of America, where she worked at for 23 years.

April was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Most importantly, her husband and children were her life and her motivation to fight her illness.

She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, children and father, April is survived by many friends and additional family members, whom will miss her dearly.

She was predeceased by her mother on December 12, 2020.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of April's life journey will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from the funeral home chapel. Rev. John Williamson will officiate.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
