April Knott

April Knott (63) of Sabillasville Maryland passed from this life on Tuesday November 14, 2023 at Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA.  She was the beloved wife of Chris Knott and Mother of Allison (Knott) Wilt.  Beloved by siblings Marcia, Linda, Danny, Bobby and Debbie.  Beloved Fur grandmother to Simba, Bella, 8 kitties and two bunnies.

April was born on April 6, 1960 in Gettysburg PA.  She was the daughter of Morris and Betty (Sweeney) Harman.

She was a RN BSN for over 40 plus years where she followed her passion from her Aunt Hazel.  She enjoyed making wreaths, painting and doing other fun crafts.  She enjoyed gardening and going on the boat with her husband, daughter, son in law and her two grand pups every summer.  She was an amazing artist and a wonderful nurse. She was the best wife, mother and sister anyone could ask for.  She was a warrior dealing with many illnesses through her lifetime.  Her strength and kindness will live on in all of our hearts.

In addition to her husband Christopher Knott, she is survived by her daughter Allison Wilt and son and law Ryan Wilt.  Her siblings Marcia, Linda, Danny, Bobby and Debbie.  As well as many nieces, nephews, mother, brothers and sister in laws.  Lastly her fur grandbabies.

A small private service will be held with close friends and family only.

Memorial donations may be made to Owl Moon Raptor sanctuary in Boyds MD.  April has loved owls since a young age where she took in a baby owl and help raise him until he could be released to the wild. I, as her daughter, feel this is a great way to honor her memory.
