Arcia was the kind of person who left a little bit of herself with everyone she met.

Arcia Viola Snook, 75, of New Market, Maryland, passed away peacefully surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

Arcia was the kind of person who left a little bit of herself with everyone she met. She was kind, fun-loving, optimistic, hardworking, and always willing to share a smile, a laugh, a good meal, or a helping hand. Her warmth and generosity made people feel welcome, and her family was the center of her world.

Born May 23, 1951, Arcia was the second child and first daughter of the late Grayson Klipp and Alberta (Stimmel) Klipp. She grew up surrounded by family and carried that love of family with her throughout her life. She was a graduate of Middletown High School.

Arcia had a special gift for bringing people together through food. She worked as a cook at Chat n Chew, Snow White Grill, and Sodexo, where she became well known and loved for her delicious cooking. For Arcia, cooking was more than a job-it was one of the ways she showed people that she cared. A good meal, a full table, and the people she loved gathered around it were some of life's greatest joys.

Her warmth and generosity made people feel welcome, and her family was the center of her world.

Of all the roles she held in her life, being a wife, mother, and grandmother meant the most to her. Arcia shared a devoted life with her husband, William “Bill” Snook, and their love and companionship remained a constant throughout the years. Bill was not only her husband, but her best friend and partner in all of life's moments.

Arcia also adored her three granddaughters, Erica, Caitlin, and Cheyenne. They held a very special place in her heart, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. Some of their happiest memories were the simple ones-playing bingo, going to carnivals, laughing together, and enjoying each other's company. Those ordinary moments became extraordinary memories because Arcia was there.

Arcia was preceded in death by her parents, Grayson and Alberta Klipp; her sister, Evelyn Yeager of Hagerstown; her daughter, Teresa Snook; and Teresa's partner, Rammy “Raymond” Reeder, both of Hagerstown.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, William “Bill” Snook of New Market; her son, Ronnie Snook and his wife, Amy, of Fishersville, Virginia; and her three beloved granddaughters, Erica Snook of Austin, Texas; Caitlin Snook of Williamsburg, Virginia; and Cheyenne Reeder of New Market, Maryland.

For Arcia, cooking was more than a job-it was one of the ways she showed people that she cared.

She is also survived by her siblings, David Klipp and his wife, Diana, of Walkersville, Maryland; Dollie Davis of Shreveport, Louisiana; Ronnie Klipp and his wife, Cathy, of Gulfport, Michigan; Jay Klipp of Martinsburg, West Virginia; and Vickie Taylor and her husband, Lester, of Boonsboro, Maryland.

Arcia's greatest legacy will not be found in the places she worked or the things she accomplished, but in the love she gave to the people around her. She was a woman who loved deeply, laughed often, worked hard, and found joy in the people she loved most.

Her family will remember her in the kitchen, in the laughter shared around the table, at bingo games and carnivals, and in all the little moments that now mean so much. They will remember her strength, her kindness, her sense of humor, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Most of all, they will remember how much she loved her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and her siblings.

Though her family will feel her absence every day, they will carry her love with them always. The memories she created, the lives she touched, and the love she gave will remain a part of them forever.

Arcia was deeply loved. She will be deeply missed. And she will never be forgotten.
