Barbara Joan Griffiths

Barbara Griffiths, 82, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Frederick Crossing in Frederick, Maryland.

Born on February 9, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Albert Joseph Romansky and Julia Frances (Selenski) Romansky.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Kappes (Chuck), her eldest son, Robert Griffiths III, and several nephews and one niece. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving beloved husband Robert C. Griffiths, Jr, her son Ryan Griffiths, her sister Ruth Dickerson.Barbara was an active member of St Joseph on Carrollolton Manor Catholic Church, where she was a member of the church choir. Barbara loved to sew, garden, and make porcelain dolls. She was loved by many friends in her community. Barbara's kind, calm and positive presence will be missed by all who loved her. 

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, Maryland.A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 12 noon, as St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor, with burial immediately following.
