Barbara Jean “Bobbi” Tredway, 77, of Adamstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at her home. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Norman Tredway.
Born on April 10, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Eldon William Hall and Hildegard Marie (Schmidt) Hall. The third oldest of twelve children, Bobbi grew up surrounded by family, and that love remained at the center of her life.
Bobbi’s faith in God and love for her family guided her throughout her life. She treasured time with her children and her grandchildren. An avid reader, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially a good book, watching the sunrise at the beach, and working on Sudoku puzzles. She also loved playing Texas Hold’em and board games with family. Above all, she cherished being a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her husband, Bobbi is survived by her children, Katherine Rives, Anthony Rives, Kristin Grier, and Thomas Tredway; her grandchildren, Trevor Bradley, Aubrey Grier (Jax), and Wyatt Rives; and her siblings, Anna, Mark, William (Bill), Lorita (Lori), Beatrice (Trice), Teresa, Daniel (Danny), John, Alan, and Joseph (Joe).
Bobbi has joined her beloved parents, Eldon and Hildegard Hall, and her brother, Andrew (Andy), in Heaven.
A service celebrating Bobbi’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at St. Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor Catholic Church, 5843 Manor Woods Road, Frederick, MD.
Following the ceremony, a reception for family will be held at the home of her brother, Alan.
