Mrs. Barbara W. Freeze, 73 of Thurmont, MD., died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at her home.
Born August 19, 1935 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Ray and Beulah Troxell Weddle.
Mrs. Freeze was employed at Bon Ton for over 14 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children Jenny Freeze of Thurmont, Gerald Freeze, II and wife Aileen of Okinawa and Susie Freeze of Thurmont, eight grandchildren Sean Chilson, Mackenzie Freeze, Seth Chilson, Jorden Hahn, Lindsey Chilson, Jameson Hahn, Trey Freeze and Curtis Freeze, siblings Donald G. Weddle, Peggy Ann Dellinger and Jerry Lee Weddle. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by two brothers C. Ray and Reginald Weddle and a sister Sally Wellinghurst.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Thursday, October 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 31, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jan Ports officiating.
Interment private.
