Basil J. Vicere

Mr. Basil J. Vicere, 92, of Frederick died on Friday, November 24, 2006 at Vindobona Nursing Home, Frederick, MD. He was the husband of Rena F. Herzog Vicere.
Born on May 30, 1914, in Bradford, PA, he was the son of the late Pacifico and Amelia Conti Vicere. Mr. Vicere was member of the Maceratese Lodge, American Legion and the Loyal order of the Moose.
Surviving are three children, Barbara A. Wade and husband Donald of Jefferson, MD, Paul J. Vicere and wife Angela of Mt. Airy and Eugene B. Vicere and wife Devika of Alaska; five grandchildren, Jennifer L. Wade, Teresa M. Thorne, Benjamin J. Vicere, Christine L. Vicere and Douglas R. Vicere; two great grandchildren, Joey Vicere and Angela M. Thorne and one Sister, Geraldine (Gerda) Bizzaro.
Mr. Vicere was preceded in death by one grandchild, Kimberly A. Wade, who passed away in 1987, and five siblings, Samuel Vicere, Angeline M. Comilla, Albert U. Vicere, Louise E. Drumm and Anna M. Palmer.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday, November 27, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 28, at Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland.
Interment will take place Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, December 4, 2006.
