Bena Faye (Stanifer) Halterman, 79, of Sykesville, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Carroll County Center in Westminster, Maryland.
Born on August 4, 1936, in Sneedville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late App and Cecile Ruby (Jefferson) Stanifer. Her husband, Jennings Halterman, preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, in Brownsville, Maryland. Rev. Alan M. Smith will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Brownsville Heights Cemetery.
