Mrs. Bernice Main Haugh, 91, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away February 21, 2015. Born August 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Archie Thomas and Beulah Main Fogle, and granddaughter of the late John E. and Selma Bernice Poole Main. She was preceded in death by two brothers Donald E. Fogle and John Edward Hoffman.
Raised in Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Haugh was a graduate of the nursing class of 1945 from the Frederick City Hospital and retired as a registered nurse from Frederick Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Haugh was very proud of her ownership in the former Shipley Bottling Works of Frederick, as well as her family’s heritage in both the American Revolutionary War and the Civil War. Her family and friends wish to extend a heart-felt thank you to the staff at Glade Valley Center for the many years of good care she received there. Services and interment will be private. Arrangements by Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick.
