Betty Jane Moser

Betty Jane Moser, 93, of Jefferson, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Kline Hospice in Mount Airy, MD. She was the wife of the late Raymond Leon Moser.

Born on November 11, 1931, in Myersville, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Otha and Viola Lelah (Michael) Cline.

Betty was a 1948 graduate of Middletown High school. She worked as a librarian from 1967-1997 at the Brunswick Public Library, Brunswick, MD. Betty was a lifelong member of New Hope United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, especially to Florida in the winter, and gardening. Betty also enjoyed taking special trips with her daughter and sister-in-law, Thelma Campbell.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann Barker, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Carol Moser and her siblings, Ray Cline, William Cline and Doris Cline.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, and 10-11 am on Thursday, October 23 at Stauffer Funeral home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Brunswick). Interment will be at Park Heights Cemetery in Brunswick, MD.
