Betty Lee Proctor

Betty Lee Proctor, 100, of Rohrersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Born on March 4, 1926, in Weverton, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Hilery and Thelma Loretta (Younkins) Harrison.

Betty was a graduate of Boonsboro High School. She worked for Pleasant Valley Elementary school as both a school aide and a secretary. Betty was involved in numerous church activities, singing at church services and for weddings.

She is survived by her children, Dawn Deener and husband Robert, Nancy Alga and Barry Proctor and wife Linda; grandchildren, Marissa Brocious and husband Scott, Robert Ashley Deener and wife Haylee, Chasen Deener and wife Darleane, Michelle Alga Taggart and husband Jamison and Jeff Chen and wife Amber and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Victory Baptist Church, 8014 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland where a celebration of Betty's life journey will take place at 12:00 pm.

Interment will be at Brownsville Heights Cemetery in Brownsville, Maryland.
