Betty Elizabeth Stull Frushour
March 23, 1929 — February 19, 2007
Mrs. Betty Elizabeth Stull Frushour, 77, of Thurmont, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at her home. She was the wife of Charles Sonny R. Frushour for 23 years.
Born March 23, 1929, in Thurmont, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Mary (Poole) Stull. A proof reader for 22 years at Moore's Business Forms, prior to she worked at Claire Frock, Taneytown Rubber Factory and Frederick Tailoring.
A member of Weller United Methodist Church, Betty was a Gold Star member at the Thurmont American Legion. She also was a member of the Moore's Retirement Association and Recreation Association.
Besides her husband survivors include her son, Jerry Martin and wife, Vivian of Rocky Ridge; her daughter, Pam Martin and grandson, Chad McNair of Emmitsburg. Three sisters, Blanche Henning, Mildred Shire both of Thurmont, and Frances Shimansky of Emmitsburg; four step-sons, nine step-grandchildren and four great-step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her very special step-granddaughter Kristy.
She will also be remembered by special friends, Irene Snurr, Aileen Passuello, Helen Wolfel, Rosie and Gene Andrews.
Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Charles Stull.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Weller United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Broome officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
