Brenda Lorraine Booth, 60, of Charles Town, West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.
Brenda was born on May 14, 1966, in Cheverly, Maryland. She grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and later relocated with her family to
Charles Town, West Virginia, in 1999. Wherever Brenda called home, she filled it with love, warmth, laughter, and care for the people around her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Charles S. Booth; her sons, Dr. Matthew “Matt” P. Booth and Charles A. “Andrew” Booth and his fiancée, Amy Collins; her parents, Charles and Eula Cusick; her brother, Jeffrey Cusick; her sister-in-law, Charlene Augustine; her nieces, nephew, great-nephew, and great-niece; her lifelong best friend, Betty Beard and her husband, Steve; and her much-loved fur grandbaby, Penelope.
Brenda was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a thoughtful daughter, and a cherished friend. Family and friends were at the heart of her life. She had a way of making people feel loved, remembered, and cared for, and she touched the lives of all who had the blessing of knowing her. Although Brenda faced a short battle with cancer, her life will not be remembered by illness, but by the love she gave, the strength she carried, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. She did not fear death, but her heart remained with the family and friends she loved so dearly. We take comfort in knowing that, through God’s mercy, she is at peace, free from pain and fear, and resting in the arms of her Lord. God has her in His arms, and we will carry her forever in our hearts.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick, Maryland, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by family friend and brother in Christ, Pastor Jason T. Powell. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment of the remains will be immediately following the service at the Park Heights Cemetery located at 710 East H Street, Brunswick, Maryland.
