Brenda J. Cox, 82, of Westminster, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at her residence.
She was the wife of the late Rev. Walter Carey Cox, who died in 2020.
Born on December 1, 1939, in Trion, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Annie Pearl Wilson Sullivan.
Brenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother as well as her duties being a fine minister's wife. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband by motor home.
Surviving are a son, Gregory C. Cox and wife Carolina of Westminster; two grandchildren: Brandon and Britney Cox; two sisters, Frances Jones and Myra Smythers. She was preceded in death by two sons: Anthony Brian Cox and John Kevin Cox; as well as a brother and two sisters..
The family will receive friends from 12- 1 pm on Sunday, April 10, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick where a celebration of Brenda's life will begin at 1:00 PM Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
