Bryan Saal, 48, of Jefferson, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Born on March 26, 1978, in Media, PA, he was the son of Robert Saal and Paula (Dahlen) Saal.

He attended and graduated from Rock Creek School, and worked at the former Jeanne Bussard Center and currently attended the Scott Key Center, where he participated in Supported Employment and Community Access programs with Mr. Danny. He was a dedicated altar server at St. Mary and St. Francis Church in Petersville and Brunswick, MD. Bryan really enjoyed many Special Olympics sports - volleyball, soccer, basketball, bowling, softball and bocce. In addition, he played Challenger baseball. Bryan was special in so many ways. Karaoke, carnivals, tractor pulls, airport watching, line dancing, all things Christmas, and his favorite, Elvis. He was supported and loved by Ms. Cherryl and Ms. Rochelle through the ARC of Frederick County. He had a winning smile and made friends all his life. His family was loved immensely by Bryan. He was so very proud of his sister, brother-in-law and all his nephews and their wives. Definitely one of a kind and so very special beyond words to his family, friends, neighbors and his cat, Rosie.

In addition to his parents, Bryan is survived by a sister, Kristen Leazer and husband Bill; nephews Marc Leazer and wife Bryanna, Alex Leazer and wife Carly Foss, Scott Leazer and wife Julia, and Ben Leazer. He is also survived by an uncle, Peter Saal, an uncle and aunt, Philip and Jean Dahlen, as well as many other extended loving family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 21 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick. A Celebration of Life and Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, September 22 at 11:00 am, at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown, where the family will receive friends for an hour prior to the Mass. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Petersville.
