Carl Bivens

Carl Wayne Bivens, 68 years old, resided at Sunset Ridge Assisted Living in Frederick, went to his eternal rest on Thursday, November 23, 2023.  

He was born in Martinsburg, WV on September 2, 1955, to the late Carl Raymond Bivens and Martha Bivens-Delauder. He worked for more than 30 years at Grove Worldwide Company.  

His hobbies and interests included restoring vintage cars, wood working, Nascar racing, traveling, and hunting.  

Surviving is his lifelong best friend, Beverly Bivens. Carl had many others who cared for him to include his cousins, Sharon and Mark Golden; and Donna Bivens. Carl’s siblings include, Larry Bivens (deceased), Brenda McKissic (Reedsville,WV), Kenny Bivens, Bonnie Mason, Bill Hannah, and David Hannah of Martinsburg, WV. He has many beloved nieces and nephews who will miss him.

Final resting place ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2023 at Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, WV with Rev. Tim May officiating.
