Carol Marie LeStrange, 89, of Ijamsville, passed away on Sept 22, 2026. Born January 29, 1937, in Panama NY, she was the daughter of the late Bessie M and Carl R Lindberg.

She was employed by AVEMCO Insurance Brokerage, Inc. in Maryland for many years.

Carol loved her family unconditionally, and was compassionate, giving, and kind to all. She loved gardening, puzzles, and reading.

She is survived by her children, Susan M. McGuire, William R. (Catherine) LeStrange, Jr., Kevin J. LeStrange, Stephen D. LeStrange, Beth Ann (Richard) Costantino, Patrick B. LeStrange, Denise K. (Michael) Estep and Linda J. (Barry) Payne; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a brother, David A. Lindberg and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William R. LeStrange; son Timothy M. LeStrange; sister Joyce L. Lindberg; sister in law LaVina Lindberg and great nephew Keith Lindberg.

The family would like to thank Fahrney Keedy Senior Living Center in Boonsboro, MD for their excellent and loving care during Carol's residency, also Hospice of Washington County, MD for their compassionate support.

According to her wishes, Carol will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Panama, NY. Services will be private at the Lind Funeral Home in Jamestown, NY.
