With love, strength and grace, Carol Jean Strube Roberts, of Myersville, journeyed into the Kingdom of God on Monday, July 14, 2025.
Born in Schenectady, NY on March 28, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Janet Ruth Strube.
Carol shared three children with Rodman P. Roberts, Karyn R. Watson, Kenneth W. Roberts, and Rodman Scott Roberts. Her children blessed her with six grandchildren, Shannon Tregoning Prather, Joshua B. Tregoning, Wyatt Watson, Christopher Roberts, Kameron Max Roberts, and Miranda Roberts, all who blessed her with 12 great-grandchildren. Carol has a great-great grandbaby soon to arrive. Additionally, she is survived by two sisters, Doris Fiorello and Linda Adair; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was rich in her love for them.
Carol was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Riley Ann Dennis; and her brother, Robert E. Strube.
Carol was a lover of many things and also was known as "Grandma Wimsey" and did all she could to mill flour gluten free to aid in the needs of Gluten Free Foods. Carol gave much of herself and was dedicated to her family and friends. She was a woman of great faith that she shared with her Mt. Zion UMC church family. She loved life to the fullest and shared it with everyone she met.
A celebration of life will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Mt. Zion UMC, 603 Main Street, Myersville. The family invites you to join them immediately before and after services on Saturday at the church. Flowers are welcome.
