Carolyn Reid Schmid passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 30, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 26, 1940 in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Walter Shipstead and Ruth Critchfield Reid.
She is survived by her two loving daughters Cynthia Schmid of Germantown and Catherine Witchie and husband Paul of Darnestown. She is also survived by her four loving granddaughters Lauren Witchie, Lindsey Witchie, Cathryn Schmid and Jessica Witchie.
A memorial service will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:30PM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will be private.
