Cathy Logan

February 1, 1961 — July 5, 2023

Frederick

With great sorrow, the Logan family announces the death of a wonderful human being, Cathy Logan. Cathy, aged 62, died on Wednesday, July 5 after a long journey with breast cancer.

Cathy was born in Rockville, MD on February 1, 1961 to Sydney and Janice Butt. She graduated high school from Richard Montgomery and went on to have a wide range of jobs including, but not limited to, drive in movie theater employee, cobbler, and bank teller, before settling down as a homemaker.

Cathy married Robert Logan on May, 14 1993 and had one child, Nicole, in 1994. She created a warm, happy life for herself in Frederick, MD. She spent her days reading her many Stephen King books, coloring in her sun room, and watching baseball.

Assertive and passionate, Cathy was someone who radiated strength in any given situation. Cathy knew her worth and made sure others knew it too. She was a personality you could never forget and would never want to. She held a powerful presence in any room she walked into.

Cathy will forever be loved and missed. Her legacy will be carried on in our hearts for eons to come. Little by little, we let go of loss, but never of love.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 Pm on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
