Charlotte "Bootie" V. Doll

Charlotte V. “Bootie” Doll, 87, of Walkersville, MD, formerly of Catonsville, MD, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.  She was the wife of 64 years to the late Herbert W. Doll, Sr.  Born on June 21, 1935 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. Wenck and Charlotte Anna Piller Wenck.

Bootie graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame in 1953, and was married in 1954.  She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, Bingo, crocheting, cross stitching, and slot machines, especially in Charles Town.  A tremendous amount of time was spent with her beloved family.

She is survived by her children, Herbert W. Doll, Jr. (Carolyn), Cheryl A. West (Robert), Katherine D. Corona (Joseph) and Mark E. Doll; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was expecting her 17th great-grandchild in July.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel E. Wenck and a great-grandson Brennan Doll.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD 21793. The funeral mass will begin at 11 am. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will be private at a later date at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, alongside her late husband.
