Charlotte was born on September 17, 1935, in Lantz, MD. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Emma Brown and was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Brown, and her beloved husband, John "Jack" Nusbaum, to whom she was married for 45 years.
Charlotte graduated from Thurmont High School in 1953 and went on to earn her nursing degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus. After raising her two sons, she proudly returned to her nursing career, working for Dr. Lorin Busselberg in Frederick, Maryland. In later years, Charlotte and her special companion, Bob Stull, enjoyed attending University of Maryland sporting events together and cherished the many memories they made with friends and family. She also shared a remarkable bond with her nursing school classmates, meeting with them monthly for many years.
Charlotte was a devoted member of Glade United Church of Christ in Walkersville.
She is survived by her companion, Bob Stull; her two sons, John "Reg" Nusbaum (Pam) and Jay Nusbaum (Angel); her three beloved grandsons, Jonathan "Ryan" Nusbaum (Erin), Brady Nusbaum, and Collin Nusbaum (Cindy); her sister-in-law, Becky Brown; her niece, Jennifer Buchheister; her nephew, Michael Brown; and her cousin, Milton Brown.
