Thurmont, Maryland- Cheryl Fogle, 74 passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 17, 2025 in Frederick, Maryland. She was born in Saratoga Springs on April 18, 1951 to the late Frank and Helen (Burton) Peacock.

Cheryl graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1969 and married Glenn Fogle, Jr. on April 15, 1972. She worked her entire career for Verizon, starting in 1969 and retiring in 2011. Shortly after, she and Glenn moved to Thurmont, MD in 2012.

Along with her parents, Cheryl is predeceased by her sisters Linda Smiraldo and Phyllis Leahy. She leaved behind her husband, Glenn; son Glenn Fogle III and his wife Amanda; daughter Sarah Hurley and her husband Sean; brother Frank Peacock; Tirza Chappell; and 6 grandchildren Dylan, Erik, Henry, Addilyn, Avery, and Molly.

A service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2:30pm at the Gerald B.H. Soloman National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. Celebration of Life will be held after the funeral service. More information to follow.
