Claudette Doris Pare

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claudette Doris Lemay Paré, age 87, who passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, surrounded by family in Mount Airy, MD.

Born on February 22, 1938, in Ste Agnis De Bellcombe, Quebec, Canada, Claudette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family.

Claudette was married to Egide Joseph Paré for 67 years. Together, they raised three children: Robert Paré (Carole), Donald Paré (Sonia), and Lisa Guay. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Jason, Samantha, Melissa (Brian), Jeffrey, Claudia (Travis), Christopher, Matthew, Michael, and Andrew; and great-grandchildren Emma, Olivia, Madelyn, and Hailey. Her family was her greatest joy, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Claudette spent 59 years of her life in the United States, where she focused on raising her family. In her retirement, she found great happiness spending her golden years vacationing in Lake Wales, Florida. She enjoyed playing endless games of cards with her grandchildren, friends and family, cracking jokes, singing, and had a real sweet tooth - she would never say no to a cookie!

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church in Ijamsville, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Frederick Health Hospice in Claudette’s memory.

Claudette's memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who loved her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
