Constance Carlotta Keesling

Constance Keesling, age 82, passed away January 21st, 2026 in Fredrick, Maryland due to complications from pneumonia and flu.

She was born on January 19, 1944, in Leesburg, Virginia to Asbury and Eleanor Smith. She was a graduate of Loudoun County High School and was an active member of the Lovettsville 4H Club, where she met her husband, Frank Keesling, Jr. She was a supporter of the Special Olympics and Loudon County Every Citizen has an Opportunity (ECHO). She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents, Asbury and Eleanor Smith; her brother, Jimmy Smith; and her sister, Donna Smith; Frank Keesling and her son William “Billy” Keesling.

She is survived by her children Teresa Keesling of Harrisonburg, Virginia; Tim Keesling of Mebane, North Carolina; Scott Keesling of Marietta, Georgia; and Carin Schofield of Lynchburg, Virginia. She also leaves behind her 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
