Dale Alan Livermore

Mr. Dale Alan Livermore, 70 of Frederick, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Georgetown University Hospital. He was the husband for 23 years to Barbara Newton Livermore.

Born in Washington, DC on April 4, 1937, he was the son of the late Phoebe and Russell Park Livermore, Sr. Retired as a communications specialist with Department of Health and Human Services after 14 years of service, Dale had previously worked for over 30 years with AT&T. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves, having been stationed at Andrews Air Force Base.

A member at Grace Community Church, Dale cherished the time he could spend with his grandchildren. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan having been a season ticket holder since 1958.

Besides his wife, survivors include his five children, Laura Freeman and husband Neal of Anderson, IN, Russell Livermore of Frederick, Andy Livermore of Edgewater, MD, Joe Livermore of Annapolis, MD, and Margi Heckman and husband David of Lititz, PA; two step children, Lisa Taylor of Frederick and Tom Carter, Jr. of Herndon, VA; fourteen grandchildren; and three siblings, Russell and wife Darleen of Miami, FL, Charlie Livermore of Miami, FL and Ina Devine of Bowie, MD.

Dale was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lee Livermore.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, from 6 until 9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.

Services: Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Grace Community Church, 5102 Old National Pike, Frederick, MD with Rev R. Dallas Greene and Rev. Mike Brubaker officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be private.
