June 18, 1951 — August 27, 2014
Daniel Joseph Haggerty, 63, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning, August 27, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Dan spent almost two years at Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, after having suffered a stroke in July of 2012.
He was proud of his kids and those he considered his kids.
Dan will be very missed by those who knew and loved him either as "Dad," "Grandpa," "Dan," "Buck," or "Shaggy." As "Shaggy" would say, "Catch ya on the flip side!"
A memorial gathering in memory of Dan will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, Boonsboro, Maryland.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
