In Loving Memory of Daniel Schwartz

07November1996 – 09April2026

The world became a little quieter and significantly less bright on April 9th with the unexpected passing of Daniel. A man who lived life at full volume, Daniel was a force of nature—defined by his boundless energy, his quick wit, and a heart that was always open to a new friend or a grand adventure.

Daniel didn’t just "walk" through life; he ran toward it. He possessed a rare, magnetic zest for living that made everyone around him feel more capable of joy. Whether he was working at Petco, watching movies, hanging out with his girls ( his pups) friends and family, he did so with a passion that was impossible to ignore. Daniel was someone who could find the silver lining in any storm and a reason to laugh in any silence.

Beyond his human friendships, the true center of Daniel’s world was his two "girls," Juno and Vespa. His devotion to them was legendary. To Daniel, Juno and Vespa weren't just pets; they were his constant shadows, his girls, “them bitches” 😊, and his children. He took immense pride in caring for them, spoiling them and his happiest moments were spent with the girls by his side, snuggling watching Dan play video games, or watching movies they were together. Even sharing his steak with them. The three of them could often be seen going for rides in the car or taking walks. The bond they shared was a testament to Daniel’s capacity for love, loyalty and true evidence of his gentle, nurturing soul. A true gentle giant!

Daniel’s sudden departure leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved him. However, his spirit lives on every time a dog’s tail wags, every time a glass is raised in friendship, and every time someone chooses to live a little more boldly in his honor.

Daniel is survived by his Mom, Cheryl Schwartz, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Chosen family, so many Friends and of course, his beloved Juno and Vespa. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Thomas Edward Schwartz and Elsie Ruth Schwartz.
