Danny Lee Dixon

Danny Lee Dixon, 51 of Walkersville, Maryland formally of Brunswick passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. He was the husband of Wendy Dixon.

Born August, 28, 1955 in Frederick, Maryland he was the son of Ikuko Gloria Dixon of Brunswick the late Donald Dixon.

He was employed with Farmers and Mechanics Bank in Frederick, MD for 29 years.

Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports. He was an avid Redskins fan.

Danny loved vacationing with his family at their condo in Myrtle Beach.

He also enjoyed being involved in Babe Ruth baseball and was proud of managing the team that took third in the 2004 World Series.

In addition to his loving wife Wendy and mother Ikuko Gloria he is survived by four sons, Sean Remsberg of Frederick, MD, Brad Remsberg and wife Julia of Frederick, MD, Tyler Dixon and Kyle Dixon both of Walkersville, a brother, Dennis Dixon of Virginia and a sister, Roxanne Picasso and husband David of California. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Monday, December 11, 2006 from 6:00-9:00 PM.

Services: A grave side service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Glade Cemetery, Walkersville with Rev. Vicky Starnes officiating.

Interment will be in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville.
