Darlene Bartlett, 76, of Hagerstown, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at her home.

Born on December 17, 1944, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Leavitt and Waunita E. (Lewis) Jamison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Bartlett, in October 2001.

Darlene was a 1962 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She was employed by Washington County Hospital for over 47 years. She was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg.

Darlene enjoyed her retirement and spent time taking many bus trips, playing bingo, her Saturday trips to Hagerstown City Market, watching Orioles baseball, Hallmark movies, and spoiling her furry grandcats, Sanford, Sniffles, LB, and Mr. Picklechip and many others over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Katie Beall and her husband, Brian, of Hagerstown; brother, Dale Jamison and wife, Norma, of Smithsburg; sister, D. Ann Ashbaugh and husband, George, of Boonsboro; nephew, Aaron Jamison and wife, Tonya, of Smithsburg; great-nephews, Corey Jamison of Hagerstown, and Grant Jamison and wife, Kate, of Smithsburg; uncle, Dale Lewis; aunt, Beverly Spigler; and numerous cousins; and dear friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Samples Manor Cemetery in  Sharpsburg, Maryland with Rev. Connor Newlun officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, PO Box 364, Sharpsburg, MD 21782.
