Darrell V. Scuffins

Darrell V. Scuffins, 66, of Boonsboro died December 18, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 10, 1959 in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late Harvey Scuffins, Jr. and Phyllis Miller Scuffins.

Darrell graduated from Boonsboro High School.

He worked at Maryland Ribbon, East Alco, and most recently with VT Industries. He was a member of the Boonsboro American Legion, the Williamsport Redmen Lodge/Tribe #84, and the Western Maryland Sportsman Club.

He was a member of Calvary Chapel of Cumberland Valley.

Darrell was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, boating, crabbing and gardening. He loved his fur babies, Dee and Maggie Mae.

He is survived by his wife, Linda K. Scuffins; daughter, Lisa Mansaray; stepdaughters, Alicia Hinkle and Amanda Hinkle; grandchildren, Nicole, Jordan, Jeremiah, and Ebu; step-grandchildren, Crystyn, Ashjen, Kaylyn, Titus, and Gideon; brothers, George N. Scuffins (wife Catherine), Galen L. Scuffins (wife, Catherine); sister, Charlene K. Scuffins Lloyd; and many nieces, nephews, close cousins, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Ann Leatherman and Patsy S. Simmons; and a brother, Dwight David Scuffins.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, with a funeral service to begin at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Randy Mosher.

Interment to follow in Boonsboro Cemetery.

Although Darrell loved flowers, he wanted donations sent to Wounded Warriors Project; St. Jude Children's Hospital; or an organization of one's choice.
