Daryl Lee May

Daryl Lee May, 72, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Northampton Manor Health Care Center in Frederick, MD

Born on July 28, 1954, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Charles Kenneth May and Gloria Ann (Mayhew) May.

He was a 1972 graduate of Frederick High School. A truck driver, Daryl drove for several companies most notable for Geiser Distribution Company and Erwin Distributors.

An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching all sports especially following the New York Yankees and Washington Redskins. Daryl also played many sports including: baseball, golf, bowling and softball.

He is survived by Domestic Partner, Jane Ann Ingham of Myrtle Beach; his sister, Brenda Sue Baugher of Frederick; nephews Christopher Baugher and wife Carly and Brian Baugher wife Leslie, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Daryl's life will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 23, at Pleasant View Church of the Brethren, 6213 Picnic Woods Road, Jefferson, MD 21755, with Rev. Tim May officiating. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to above named church or to Frederick Health Hospice.
