Dave was a 1964 Boonsboro High School graduate, and a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst, A Company, 519th Military Intelligence Battalion, 525th Military Intelligence Group from1966-68. In the best of times, Dave enjoyed listening to and playing bluegrass music, riding his Harley's, fishing, and watching wildlife at his Potomac River cabin in West Virginia. He looked forward to the annual Memorial Day weekend Rolling Thunder event at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall to pay his respects to his fallen comrades. Some of his greatest loves were all furry 4-leggeds, fried morels and oysters, Levi jeans, flannel shirts, and beer! Not one to be confined, Dave was always determined to take the road less travelled. To paraphrase, he marched to the beat of a drum that most will never hear.
