David Wilbur Fitzwater

David Wilbur Fitzwater, 71, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at home.

Born on June 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Ervin Braxton Fitzwater and Mary Ellen (Moses) Funk. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Fitzwater. 

He was employed by Wright Away Reuse, Inc in Frederick. 

Dave is survived by his daughters, Betty A. Fitzwater, Janet Adams, and Alice Johnson; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his sister, Gail Prinz of Olney. 

He was preceded in death by one sister; and one brother. 

Services will be private.
